Basalt tapes type TB and TB/P
Basalt tapes are weaved of high quality basalt yarn with the temperature strength up to 700°C. Self-adhesive layer (type TB/P) enables very fast and convenient installation of sealing. Basalt, as opposed to ceramic fibres, is not subject to any hygienic restrictions. Used fibres are characterized by a perfect thermal stability and keep their original structure to the amount of the maximum temperature of use. An additional advantage is the lack of any metallic inclusions, which enables using for insulation of e.g. live ducts and a very low weight loss after ignition. Normally the finished product is delivered on spools in sections with the length of 50 or 100 m.
Application
Basalt tapes are a thermal insulation material used as sealing e.g. of fireplace inserts, boilers, dryers and any kind of hot elements in industrial systems.
