Glass packing impregnated with graphite type ESG
This packing is made of glass textured yarn and impregnated in two stages with lubricating composition on the basis of graphite. The packing shows good resistance to high temperature. It is characterized by non-flammability, and shows thermal insulation properties. As compared with dry packing, higher tightness was obtained, particularly at the use in gas utilities. This packing is resistant to many chemical utilities, except for concentrated alkali and hydrofluoric acid. The impregnant contains petrol derivatives that are being burnt-out at the temperature of +200°C.
Application
Most often used as static sealing for flaps, hatches, compensators, mostly in metal casting, metallurgic, shipyard industry and the power sector.
