PTFE packing reinforced with aramid type EPB/O+AR
Packing braided of yarn of pure PTFE in fibres saturated with impregnant on the basis of silicon oil and additionally reinforced on corners with aramid. It is characterized by very high chemical resistance, also to the most caustic utilities such as concentrated acids and alkali (also oxidising acids).
Application
It may be particularly useful for use in plunger pumps and in industrial fittings in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and in drinking water treatment stations. Resistant to the impact of water, steam, oils, fuels, solvents, acids and alkali apart from strong oxidants.
