Graphite packing impregnated with PTFE type EGP
Packing braided of yarn, of expanded pure graphite led on cotton thread impregnated with PTFE dispersion. Expanded graphite owing to its thermal, chemical resistance, self-lubricating properties of and good thermal conductivity is perfect for woven packings both for rotational pumps and fittings. PTFE impregnation causes substantial decrease in working temperature of sealing, however, it significantly improves the friction coefficient and installation in chokes of pumps. Packing is more softly laid in the choke.
Application
Packing is used in chokes of pumps and valves in many branches of industry e.g. in chemical, power and paper industry.
